Justin Morneau MLB Baseball

Justin Morneau was selected by the Minnesota Twins in third round of the 1999 MLB amateur entry draft and was the 89th overall pick of the 1999 MLB amateur entry draft. After spending several seasons in the minors honing his skills he became the Twins' starting first baseman in 2004 and has never looked back. Morneau's terrific 2006 numbers - a .321 batting average with 34 home runs and 131 RBI -helped Minnesota reach the playoffs and earned him 2006 AL MVP honors.
